Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and how to get it removed.
Effectv is a small firm. We collect very little, we do not sell anything to anyone, and we would rather write this in plain words than in the usual hedge.
Last updated August 2026.
Who we are
Effectv is operated by Effectv.ai, based in India and working with clients internationally. For anything in this policy, write to rajeev@effectv.ai.
What this website collects
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising or tracking scripts, and does not build a profile of you.
Two things still happen when you load a page, and you should know about both:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard request data — IP address, time, page requested, browser type — to serve the page and protect the site from abuse. We do not use these logs for marketing.
- Fonts. Page text uses typefaces served by Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
What we collect when you contact us
If you email us or book a conversation, we hold what you send: your name, your email address, your organization, and whatever you choose to tell us about your situation. We use it to reply, to prepare for the conversation, and to follow up. Nothing else.
We do not add you to a mailing list because you emailed us. We do not sell, rent, or trade contact details.
What we collect during an engagement
Client work is governed by the contract and any non-disclosure agreement signed for that engagement, and those terms take precedence over this page.
As a general rule: our analysis works at the level of roles, tasks and workflows, not individuals. Where an engagement involves interviews or workshops, participation is voluntary, participants are told how their input will be used, and findings are reported so that individuals are not identifiable unless the client and the participant have both agreed otherwise.
How long we keep things
Correspondence is kept while a conversation or relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client materials are kept for the term agreed in the engagement contract and returned or deleted at the end of it on request. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider.
Who else sees your data
We use a small number of service providers to run the business — hosting, email, calendar and document tools. They process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not disclose personal information to anyone else except where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to rajeev@effectv.ai and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you additional rights — the EU or UK under GDPR, for example — those rights apply and we will honour them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. There is no version history worth keeping; the current page is the policy.
